I started to learn German, Arabic and French!/ ドイツ語とアラビア語とフランス語の勉強を始めました！

Hi everyone!

I am really shy but I love to communicate with people and make new friends all over the world. So, I start learning German, Arabic and French using free software called Mondly.

In this software, you can learn about 33 languages. If you pay money for it I think you can get more lessons. Anyway, it is like a game and I really enjoyed to learn three new languages.

By the way, why I chose to learn German, Arabic and French?

Two years ago, I learned German at school. I want to improve my German. Originally, I am interested in medicine and that's why I started learning German when I was in high school. This is my most favourite language because I knew a few words.

Arabic. This is the language which I thought I need to learn when I went to Uganda. I went to Bidi Bidi refugee settlement three months ago. At Bidi Bidi I couldn't communicate with the people because they were using Arabic. Some people say that we can communicate without languages. However, I believe languages are still important tools to open people's mind. Each tribe were using different languages but in the future, I want to work for Muslim countries which suffering difficult situation and it is necessary to learn Arabic for me. However, this is so hard! I couldn't understand every single letter. Step by step. I'll continue to learn Arabic to make my dreams come true.

What kind of language people need to work in the World Health Organisation? I know it is English. Yes, it is also French. I am interested in work at the WHO, that's why I started to learn French.

Looking forward to speaking these three languages fluent in a few years later!

たくさんの人とその国の言語でコミュニケーションをとりたいと思い、Mondlyというアプリでドイツ語とアラビア語とフランス語の勉強を始めました。

このアプリでは33言語が学べます。お金を払えばもっとたくさんの機能が使えるみたいですが、私は無料の機能で満足しています。ゲームみたいな感覚で学べるので楽しいです。

隙間時間にどんどん活用したい、、、

ところで、なぜそもそもドイツ語とアラビア語とフランス語の勉強を始めたかということですが、

ドイツ語に関しては2年前高校の授業で1年間学んだからという経緯があります。そもそものドイツ語の勉強のスタートは医学に興味があったからということですが、せっかく始めたので向上させたいと思います！（少しわかるので今は一番楽しい！）

アラビア語。これは、ビディビディ難民居住地を訪れたときに必要だと感じた言語でした。民族によって話す言葉は違うのですが、私が訪れた地域ではアラビア語が主流で、そこに住む人々と通訳を介しての会話がもどかしく感じました。言葉はなくてもコミュニケーションをとることができるといいますが、でもやっぱり心を通わせるためには言語は重要だと感じました。また、将来はアラビア語が使われるイスラムの地域で仕事をしたいなと思っています。なにはともあれ、とにかく読めないので難しい言語ではありますが、諦めず、一歩一歩学んでいきたい思います！

世界保健機関で働くためにはどの言語を話すことができればよいでしょうか。英語、もちろんそうです。そして、必要なのがフランス語。WHOで経験を積みたいと思っているので、フランス語も頑張ります。

数年後、この3か国語を流ちょうに話せる日を楽しみに頑張ります！
